Brothers were brought up in a Georgian family with deep sense of traditions and culture that revolved around wine and gastronomy from a very young age. Having family business interests in hospitality industry that spanned across 5 different countries, George and Tamaz from a very young age learned to appreciate great wines.
Brothers were blessed with an opportunity to study, work and live in major European cities such as Rome, Nice, Sofia to name a few. This European experience in conjunction with maintaining close ties with their homeland Georgia allowed them to cultivate a well rounded understanding of international business affairs and further expanded their knowledge of gastronomy and wine.
In 2019 brothers embarked on a new journey and are now actively expanding their businesses in California.

Coming from a family of vignerons from Languedoc, France, it was the natural path for Adrien to study viticulture and winemaking.
During his training, he went to Chateau Gruaud Larose, second growth in St. Julien, to vinify the 2005 vintage and wrote a study on Lactic Bacterias.
He then went on to London to work for world renowned chef Alain Ducasse as a sommelier and with TV Chef Bryn Williams as wine director and general manager.
After his years in the UK, he moved to Canada to work for the Societe des Alcools du Québec as a blogger and wine writer for their monthly issue: Cellier. He was back in France for a few years to work for negociant and vintage wine online retailer Millesimes.
He is now in Los Angeles, California where he met George and Tamaz, and together the trio created Jos! Wines.
Among Georgians Gaumarjos (გაუმარჯოს!), meaning “Victory to you”, is the everyday way of saying Cheers.
Jos! Wines is a result of friendship between two brothers George and Tamaz Gomiashvili and a French winemaker Adrien Rodriguez.
We focus on creating terroir driven, natural wines with lowest possible manipulation in the vineyard and in the winery. Dry farming, careful harvesting practices, controlled yields, precise temperature control throughout the winemaking process, no added sulfates and no filtration - results in the wines that express their purest form, as Nature intended it.
Our philosophy is based on the notion that great wines start from the great soils. We support organic and biodynamic practices in viticulture.
Georgia has a very rich winemaking history, stretching back from the ancient times. In fact, the earliest evidence of human winemaking was discovered in Georgia and dates back 8000 years, thus recognizing Georgia as a cradle of wine. Unfortunately, constant wars and Soviet occupation of our country destroyed the so precious legacy and only recently the wine industry started to emerge from the ashes again. We feel honored to be part of the new winemaking generation, that strives to bring Georgia back on the world wine map not only for the wine professionals, but also for the consumers around the world.
Our exclusive relationships with CaucasCert certified organic and practicing organic winegrowers guarantees that they closely follow our standards and produce exceptional fruit for our wines.
We create a range of Orange (Skin contact) wines, as well as a range of Pet Nats, Rose and Reds, all made from indigenous grape varieties grown mainly in Akhmeta, Gulgula, and Mukuzani terroirs. We believe that wine is a product that needs to be consumed with friends and family, thus we partenred with French and Georgian artists to create fun, colorful and engaging labels for our wines, that would be appealing to our consumers. Being a small, family run company with a very flat organizational and operational structure helps us price our wines very competitively without compromising the quality.
